Axiom's long drawn out battle with SMM obviously set the wheels in motion for the SI's resource sector.
The Acting Director of Mines (Thomas Toba) acknowledges there is a now a Policy in place which provides a legal framework for the extraction of minerals...and that "resource owners" now have a voice..legally!!!!!
The establishment of the independent advisory group will hopefully benefit the landowners seeking further clarity etc.
So some positives to come out of this whole debacle.... but are we any closer to a result for AVQ????
Surely we must be about there?
The Policy has been released so that would indicate the red-tape is now sorted and complete. The landowners now have a voice following the release of the Policy .... we know the landowners are on AVQ's side and want this mine to commence in Isabel asap.
I'm thinking that a decision could be pending any time soon!!!!!!!
GLTA and as always, DYOR.
