"No cash and no backer in 2016 or just great foresight "
That is one way to look at it, or you could look at it from the COP side.
If there was no cash and no backer it was very poor foresight from COP.
Failure to provide the details when requested has opened the door, allowing the opportunity to secure a backer and raise the cash.
Do you think COP did it through arrogance or hiding something related to the deal?
I cant think of why else they wouldn't have handed over the info and put it to bed there and then.
