Thanks and I understand your view. The indicators for CKD are quite clear, no disputes there and I have a mate who is a healthy bloke at 55, 81kg, 6', low BMI, good diet, heaps of exercise yet was feeling like crap, went to dr and told he has CKD. This versus the obese, diabetic with poor lifestyle choices who one would think is an obvious candidate for CKD. The latter doesn't really need the PIQ test to make a call that they are at risk. My mate on the other hand would have benefitted had there been a "reason", an earlier indicator, that there was an issue. I'm not sure what has "caused" his CKD. The Promarker D will be way more marketable and useful if it can be included in a "broad" range of age related health milestone tests; ages 30, 40, 50 etc. Maybe that is my issue in that this tech is being marketed in consideration of those who are likely to get CKD. Be more useful to identify those who don't have the obvious indicators, but who show high risk post test.
