Nothing to do with cultural diversity, I can't say I've ever met anyone that is against legal migration. It's good for the country.
People do however have an issue with economic asylum seekers, especially when most are happy to leave their women and children back in the place they are fleeing. Even the most bleeding heart lefties understand that deep down.
Good on SGH for making a buck but let's not act like this was on ethical grounds. If a few more boats start heading over and more people drown, the blood is on their hands for monetising the issue.
