Likely given they are largely the same, aside from what I'm guessing is a small chemical structure difference?
Although, it does provide another avenue in that it's another option for doctors and patients, particularly if i.e. you suffer side effects from doxy you can move to acticlate....rather than jumping to something such as accutane.
