The short term price volatility for SMY is not unexpected given its high cost of production. At A$22/lb a A$3 change in Ni price gives a 25% change in SMY profit. (This is a lot higher than IGO or JBM)
The volatile share price will probably be around until SMY delivers on it increased production schedule.
