"pit optimisation" is a mining engineering term which applies AFTER geological ore reserves have been calculated. Then one works out how to design the pit to obtain the best cash flow for shareholders. THR will need the updated ore reserves to conclude its discussions with the Japanese financiers/ore buyers.
The ore grades of some of the new holes have been released, and as a geo, I have estimated the unknowns. Still, I can be in error , but it is unlikely to be a large error.
A LOT of data on the grades at Hale River has been released by THR , since it had been drilled in part previously. You might recall that the then operator had difficulties with core recovery, If you go back and do some reading , you will learn MUCH about Hale River.
I know that the early cuttings from the current 3,000ft of air core drilling are awaiting assays. They must find thier way to the front of the queue eventually. Good Luck, C
