I don't think there is any discount for the shortfall shares.
Ionic have to go through the motion of giving existing shareholders first dibs and that closes on Tuesday night.
How much is raised from existing shareholders above the minimum remains to be seen , but understand is well above the minimum sought.
After Tuesday night then the process of participating in the shortfall starts and it would be handy if applications are cut back due to an over subscription.
It would be very handy if say Warrick Geiger took a position or even Friedland from CLQ - why not both.
If punters knew either was participating then IMO there would be very little shortfall.
