Well, you are probably very well placed to know that RGS had momentum in the animal health sector a few years back, but management/board dropped their commercialisation leader for yet another veterinarian/science person, who then changed the first income stream (AdiCell) without a clear replacement at the time, but instead went for more studies, Phase I etc.
This, and Dr Herbert's TV prowess, had a terrible impact on RGS momentum and credibility.
However, there is no point in dwelling on the past. RGS is making real progress with regards to commercialising its human health platform and the AGC deal looks definitely well executed. Redemption for the current VP Partnerships, formerly Animal Health manager?
IMHO RGS is on track for a much higher valuation and SP should follow. But I still agree with you, the PR/Marketing and commercialisation strategy is still weak and should be addressed with the AGC's payments rather than maintaining high salaries for a few people. But let's discuss this at the AGM...
