Sorry folks - had my coffee now... Got my nose out of joint with the old parents v newspaper thing... Clearly the debit issue is No. 1 but secondly it's a management issue. If MAcBk have committed to 'X', (whatever that detail is???), they will benefit from it in the long run. There is always an upside for the bank we all know that. Don't forget the government rebates to families as part of the tax benefit - 30% stake per child, and family assistance anywhere up from 16% of the childcare costs. All these $$$ going straight into the bank - how they are getting it wrong is beyond me. IMO the govt have come to the party and sought MAcBk to "fix it" to see them through to past the next election. They don't need any issues with childcare in the middle of an election year!
