alternately they could sense a momentum shift and wait to realise a profit if the price move up towards their buy in and they subsequently look to exit in the 80-90's
there's so many ways to spin the potential motives of investors. I would think if this moves strongly, many would be tempted to wait until closer to previous highs to exit, human emotion would make them do it
