    The money the company gets is when they issue new stock, cash in stock. The shares bought/sold on market the company does not see.

    As for the typo - that's a lesson that we should not let the automatic spell checker be the one and only proof reader. Long gone are the days of the red marker pens proof readers when typesetting was about.
