Yep, looked at them. In short, while I'd prefer to see some more seasoning, they come out as having a highly impressive L/S variable beta strategy. Somewhat less resourced than peers personnel wise, but high quality. Quite a diverse portfolio (less concentrated than peers) with a high active skew. Fees however are a big sticking point for me. The annual management fee is materially higher than the majority of peers and the performance fee is poorly structured given it a % of absolute performance rather than against an appropriate benchmark.
On the whole however, I'd agree that they come out in front conviction wise over Bennelong Kardinia. But this is of course notwithstanding the slightly different investment objectives (Bennelong have a strong focus on capital preservation). I'd use L1 in my super if they were available in the investment menu, but alas they are not.
