Tax loss selling at this time of year is simply selling at a low. Buy high, sell low... winning strategy!

I do know there are genuine reasons for it, but everyone goes into a frenzy to loose money just to partially offset tax.

OT - to be honest any selling now is usually minimal, tax planning occurs in March/April in preparation of June 30
