How long's a piece of string? At a resources roadshow in Sydney about 6 weeks ago, the word was that all the assay/testing labs in Australia were choked with core samples awaiting testing, and that there were some delays. So it's possible that MLS doesn't have much idea itself because the lab couldn't/wouldn't give a timeframe other than something too general to bother reporting. The catch for MLS is if they give a timeframe that blows out through no fault of their own, they still get criticised. Better to have no timeframe than one that's likely to end up wrong. Though good to know the the first phase of drilling has been completed and samples have gone for testing. A leak that news was about to be released by the company may account for the uptick yesterday.
