All investing involves an element of luck, if you think otherwise you're gonna have a bad time. Successful investing requires skewing the odds in your favour so that you come out ahead more often than not. Even at the lower end of possible outcomes, $10m of revenue should be achieved from the October sale. For an exploration/development stage company to generate cash in excess of 50% of their market cap without issuing new shares is an excellent outcome! If we look at the upside scenario, they could realistically generate cash in excess of their current market cap.
To me, this looks like a good risk/reward trade, despite the high risk.
