I agree that I think it will be challenging to spill the board based on the results today.

I do disagree that it was a pathetic vote, I think it shows the core of the against vote and where its strength is located. It clearly shows that there is a strong core group with the power to control the outcome of such a vote. This clearly shows that the shareholders who voted no control a large amount of shares which suggests they are major shareholders. These shareholders are typically motivated by financial outcomes and are definitely not mugs, they are smart investors otherwise they wouldnt have the capital to be a major shareholder.
This lends itself to say that a financially suitable offer would have gotten up but we are not interested in crumbs. But it also says that we see sufficient opportunity for a better value either by takeover or by our own devices.
Time to wrap up any pondering about the SOA, put it in the past and unite our efforts to move forwards to a better financial position. Final suggestion though, hold on tight as there is turbulence on the horizon, please ensure you know where your exits are in case of emergency...
