They're investment bankers who by large positions in companies with potential for takeover at a higher price.
These guys buying in once again points to the fact that there is the view amongst the sophisticated investment community that OMC is undervalued. Once the PFS results are released in the next 1 - 2 months it will confirm what we've all (70% of the shareholders who didn't accept Dension bid) been expecting... that OMC is worth a lot more than $200m.
Unfortunately the directors of this company were lazy and took the first bid that came along. We know there were more than on suitor out there by the fact that CAMEC had a crack. It won't be the last one either.
