Anyway while at it have been mulling over starting a stt technical thread to complement the technical aspects of the short term thread bit like the forward diary type thing . Where you mite paste up a few patterns etc or someone is testing for certain areas but needs find patterns to study etc .
Like many of us scroll heaps of charts and are not interested in certain areas but we do see the patterns etc . Also help with the newer technical people to have a resource of stt term technical trades etc that are unique as in they are live patterns etc to the asx
Like say when @952i needs a cup handle ten week pattern the coverage can help to narrow the field . Bit like our own pattern scanner thing where many hands cover a lot of ground even if not a pattern they trade or study .
Like when @Dazedandconfused used to post the chart each week was good for technical look .
Not sure quite how go about it or would conflict with the thread but being if it collated information i think it would complement the forward diary as/for the soothsayers and may pick up the hot patterns into sectors also ? Bit like how the forward radar works perhaps .
Like it wouldnt be discussing any short term tips unless asked for in the unwritten rules and any significant factors need be posted to the stt thread first ?
Just mullin it currently but has had my attention all day so had to ask first i guess .
Like need input into few things to run over perhaps from the other tech heads etc You never know we may uncover a gem technical trader out of the rough who just needs the incentive to spurn their knowledge somewhere .
Like chart threads have real difficulty or staying on track i find quite often and not saying a stt one would be any different but with a few simple rules sometimes people and things naturally fall into place without to much effort by the thread .
Like you could run a pattern of the month type thing where input was into a certain pattern or technical aspect etc etc.
Any of the technical traders think it maybe worth while if we can pass it by the Captain .
