I got in at 80 and somehwere in the 90s. felt very very stupid after the ann since i had put about 57% of my portfolio in one stock. well i have leaned a very very expensive lesson.
i am just going to hold i think for the next year or even more. have written it off in my head ( i think) but here is a newbie question for you veterans ...takeover man i would be grateful if you took some time to answer this question.
how woould you study a particluar stock before investing ? what would you look for ? how would you research a stock ? what would your criteria be ?
i know it is a silly question. but am eager to learn and am growing tired of relying on others to make that desicion. for my own reasons I am growing to distrust them. it woul be really nice to able to learn how you veterans do your thing. would like to at least have a glimpse of the trading intelligence of you guys.
