    Deeman,

Out of curiosity, why would there be any pre-tax selling??

Pre-tax selling usually occurs in order to realise a capital loss to reduce any other realised capital gains that one may have. Most people that are invested in MPO bought at lower levels, therefore if they sold they would be realising a capital gain.

I've never really heard of many ppl selling before the end of a financial year in order to realise a capital gain?? Most ppl I know would prefer to defer any realised capital gain for as long as possible, to avoid paying tax. Therefore, if there will be any selling, one would assume it would happen from Jul 1 onwards, in order to have more than 12 months (or 15-21 months) of having to pay any tax.

Unless I'm missing something that's staring me right in the face....???

    Cheers
