Goodness I have been in NZ for a funeral service for a few days and find when I get back and hop onto the good old Hot Copper EDE forum to find the place in an uproar and MB saying he is never more to post here...tragedy. I don't have much to offer in the way of a plea bargain but here goes...MB you brought decency plus valid and important information and balance to the EDE forum. There is Zen teaching that says never defend and never attack...you never did attack but you now have to leave as you find it distasteful having to defend. But you don't have to defend. Another Zen saying is "this too shall pass" and I wish you would not take offence as every moment is a chance to grow a little more. Treat this as such a chance and keep up the good work as you have many admirers and very few detractors...hang around and perhaps simply post at whim but don't take it to heart when others for whatever motivation attempt to unseat you and put you off your center. Remain present and reap the rewards...besides the celebrations in several years will make history...please be part of the ascent and of the development of EDE...it is going to be less of a blast without your words of hope and wisdom.
