pb.....not surprising given the nervousness of us investors. an article i posted last night from stocktiming highlighted a chart that tracked us institutional funds.
The article stated over the last 2 weeks, "Institutions
rebalanced their portfolio of their top 75 stocks. In rebalancing, they reduced exposure
on some Diversified Chemical companies, freight, and a variety of others. They added stocks in the drug, pharmacy, and Aerospace/defense sectors."
From the chart, it appears as though institutions have not only rebalanced, but reduced their overall holdings.
personally, i can't see the markets holding up til oct without a major correction beforehand......that is, unless there's some sort of trigger to change sentiment, like a reduction in interest rates.
but not sure this is possible given the level of rates elsewhere....how could be fed get away?
