Yes the query was dated 3rd July and my take is that this is a bit of a nothing-burger, and entirely unrelated to ASIC's statement of concerns about the bonus options and HML's subsequent suspension.
Firstly, the details of the acquisitions were announced after the stop order and after HML's voluntary suspension from trading. Therefore, this ASX query must have come after and yes, it was dated 3rd July.
My take on this is that someone has complained to the ASX about 'related party transactions', just as some people came here to complain about them. ASX are obliged to put the query to HML, and HML have responded convincingly.
Remember the query about the missing lodgement of buy-back forms? I contacted ASX for more information on this and their response was that "HML have responded to the market and we believe that's sufficient".
That should be the end of it unless somebody disputes their interpretation of the listing rules and corporations act, etc?
