Interesting point about the independent valuation, but note they have put this in place with regards to the sale of HML's stake in JBFG, and that seems more appropriate to me (http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20170526/pdf/43jj77d3dp1pw4.pdf):

"The Board ... makes no recommendation to shareholders as to the proposed transaction at this time. The Board has determined to appoint two independent directors to HML, and proposes the independent directors appoint an Independent Expert to prepare an IER as to whether or not the proposed transaction is fair and reasonable ..."
