From what i understand Tassal exports about 20% of its smoked products to China with a view to expanding its export range and scope of products over the next few years. Also the free trade agreement abolished a 12% tariff on Salmon sold to China. It costs Tassal about $1.20/kg to send salmon to China which is much cheaper than anywhere else. Anyway it probable has nothing to do with any of this..ahah..
