AWV is up because year end is done and it had sold off way too hard for the value of its assets. 1.3moz economic ounces at an EV of $35m ex cash was too cheap. Bargain hunters came in and scooped it up. I also hear that the big seller who pushed it down is done, so we have clear air again. You could see that on Friday where suddenly there was over two million bid to 8.0 and the offers had dried up on the 8's so the only meaningful offer was at 12. This will pop back up to 12c next week, and Id like to see them get the news flow rolling and get it cranking thereafter. An awful lot of good news could happen in this one, even with the crappy gold market.
