Yep, that is all we know at the moment Juno.
Formation pressure is high, as it is overcoming the 11,000 foot high static column of Frac Juice in the vertical production liner to expel Frac Juice under natural reservoir pressure.
This is an engineering exercise. An exercise in working out what is the optimum way to get the well flowing the liquids rich hydrocarbon gas from the reservoir.
I thought they may have decided to do a swab straight up and remove the Frac Juice from the vertical bore. This would have removed the back pressure on the reservoir from the vertical column of Frac Juice, and allowed the formation to expel the liquids rich hydrocarbons more freely.
However, it appears they are still confident that this step may not be necessary, and are prepared to give the well time to build up more of its own pressure to over come the static pressure of the Frac Juice in the production liner. But nonetheless, they have a contingency in place to swab the well if indeed the shutin doesn't build sufficient pressure to expel the amount of Frac Juice needed to get it flowing.
So we have high reservoir pressure, and whether this builds high enough to overcome the vertical static pressure of the Frac Juice, or they have to swab it out, once either of these happen we should see the reservoir start to expel the liquids rich gas.
The high reservoir pressure will more easily expel the lower density liquids rich gas than it can the Frac Juice, so the key is either the reservoir builds pressure higher than it currently has to force out the heavier Frac Juice and replace it with the lighter hydrocarbons, or the well bore pressure is reduced by swabbing out the Frac Juice. The company has chosen the first option at the moment, most likely on the basis of its the easiest and cheapest option to implement and they believe it has more than a fair chance of being successful.
If its not successful, then the swab I would think would be all set to be undertaken.
All standard shale oil processes. Nothing out of the ordinary IMO.
