coke cops all the negative hype from media about obesity and sugar, people should walk through their supermarket and actually read the nutritional info on all the products they put in their trolley, at the least pick up a box of cereal before they feed to their kids, the average box of breakfast cereal can have some 370 calories per 100 grams, in addition just one big mac can have 563 calories (want a fries with that) add another 300 calories, big mac and fries near 900 calories
one slice of dominos pizza on average 300 calories, most people can easily polish off one entire pizza to themselves in one siting, do the maths on say 6-8 pieces.
ohhh but wait the big killer is the can of coke with a whopping 160 calories in it. ohh wait ill have an apple and banana instead, combined it has as many calories as the can of coke. eat 10 apples and bananas a day and guess what, you'll be in a calorie positive state and hence gain weight.
everything in moderation, in summary coke doesn't even come close to many of the general foods sitting on the shelves of woolies and Coles and all the other fast food outlets.
coke seems to just take the heat all the time as a result of a majority of the population having limited knowledge on nutrition and the media loves to monopolise on this, furthermore other product manufacturers hide on the side lines selling their more calorie dense products while coke has to fight the fight on obesity.

It's the same old same old, it's easier for people to blame coke than take responsibility...that said coke not aiming marketing at younger kids is good.
