My understanding of Volt's date (and I may stand corrected) was that the 28th (GIVE OR TAKE A DAY OR TWO) is an off set of the Armstrong cycle and its a date for a cycle low - ie it may be a date that marks a low point prior to prices moving higher - I've never heard him declare the date as a certain day of doom - perhaps he's mentioned these dates in the context that over the longer term (monthly charts) this market is way overbought - as overbought as since early to mid 1987 - I've heard him warn of the risks to the downside (and they are pretty compelling - if it were to tank 10-20% from here the hindsighters would say that it was obvious and had to happen) but I've also heard him acknowledge that prices can go higher - even much higher - I guess folks interpret the posts of others the way they want to.

Personally I'm thankful that the likes of Volt are willing to offer their opinions and forecasts and leave themselves open to the judgements of people who only post to critisise others.

The fact is that a couple of weeks ago when Prophet went off the air, and farsight and volt didn't post that much, this thread wasn't worth a pinch of Sh*t!!

Anyway, back to Volt's cycles - I think July 2nd was another variation of the cycle and it was for high.

If you're reading Volt, a 101 on your cycles and these two dates would be greatly appreciated!
