Yeh, except the article was published in February. His analysis was way ahead of "the event".
All looks very relevant to me. I have never had a particularly deep understanding of the Conservative and Centre-Right factions of the Liberal party.
I have always regarded myself as a centre-right Liberal voter. I don't know if I am "typical" of that large group of Australians. I look for any government I support to be fiscally responsible, and to be a conduit for social reform where that reform is consultative, and all the consequences are debated and planned for prior to implementing such reform. I abhor the reactionary, closed mindsets of the far right and far left.
