The SPs of SFR and SRI exploded, imo, because of a major new volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) discovery in each instance; and they came as a big surprise too.
Who would have thought!
Sandfire - VMS cu/au at a shallow depth at DeGrussa when looking for gold? A very big surprise and fantastic grades and widths too. The number of shares on issue at the time was not big either, and it's still only about 160m shares. They are the 2 main points!!
Sirius - another surprise vms, and in a different area though well to the sth east of DeG but both in fertile WA. This time though nickel with copper after poking a conductor. Number of shares on issue at the time? Dunno, but my guess, given the similarities with SFR re take-off and SP, not too different.
These were very special events.
Can Breaker do the same? Well, it's just gold it seems. LOL, nothing wrong with that, but imo it's a bit ho-hum compared with a vms discovery which more or less indicates immediate wealth in some cases - as in SFR and SRI.
BRB is more of a gradual thing. That said, a year ago the SP was about 15c. Now look at it. The SPs of SFR and SRI took off very quickly too but then slowed but then built up as the new assays came in. So there are similarities there, but VMS excites more because of their very essence.
All that said, I really like Breaker. I just need some cash!
