    Maybe.... maybe not... if the moon still tracks from one side of the "earth disc" to the other, then you'd still have variable graviational pull on the earth, the bit closer gets high tide, further way, low tide. Or they may not be related at all, what if the "earth disc" is like when you make waves in the bath tub, it sloshes from one side to the other, the timings of the sloshes just happen to align with moon cycles.... a pattern doesn't directly prove cause and effect.

    hahahaha! this is fun, i'm trying to defend earth flat supportors, talk about being able to see the opposing view, i truly have an open mind.

    The simple fact is the the earth is a spheriod because that is the natural resting state of all things in nature when not impacted by a stronger force as it is the most energy efficient shape.

    I think i will adopt the opposing view and see how far i can defend this as no one appears to be on the otherside of the issue and its a slow day game on.
