Their dot technology is still plastic dots in Australia, old, old technology and the information disappears over not very much time. They have their contract in Italy. they buy some metal dots from a guy in the USA so this is even not their technology.
As far as a sell off of their dot business, haven't heard of that but whoever buys, will be sold a pup. South Africa pays a royalty but the word is, they won't be for too much longer, they are jacking up against it. Nothing DDT can do other than to go to court and they haven't got the balls to do that.
This is a mess of Rathie's creation and all he is thinking about is how does he get out without further scarring his reputation. He has not one thought for the shareholders, it is all about him.
He will need his shareholders to agree to any such proposal, now that will be fun to watch.
