I think you'll find the two groups of posters are different to what you think. There's a group who understand the stock they own, are well informed and have done the nessesary research to feel comfortable with their investment. They're not concerned about short term prices because they are involved for the potential future.

Then there's the group of short sighted investors who are more concerned with weekly changes in price. They generally don't understand the company's direction or even industry. They are uninformed in large and constantly want announcements released because that's how shares gain value. What they want these announcements to contain they can't tell you, but when one comes they're highly sceptical and want another one to follow it explaining what they don't understand. Biggest hint to pick an investor in this group is the joy they have for the increase in natural gas prices at HH, followed by the disappointment that the Co did not follow the price up.

Perhaps if there are questions you want asked, it might be worth your while phoning up tomorrow and putting it to GV yourself, that way you can challenge his answer then and there with your scepticism.
