    Thats what I have used and it should not matter which USB Mirco B cable you use... they are all the same. A Typ A has a different config but wouldn't even fit into the case.

    Anyway, tried both my iQbuds and both had the same issue, I guess I'll have to try and the Mac or work laptop tomorrow.

    But besides those issues, what are the real firmware upgrades? Looking at the email sent, I don't believe this can be it... it's nothing justifying a step up to a version 1.1.0, this could have been 1.0.4.1...
    • “Music” has been renamed to “World Off” when you tap on the right IQbud or the middle of the Home Screen Wheel.
    • Now when you tap “World Off”, it no longer pauses the music/video/media.
    • IQbuds™ audio prompts are quieter.
    Thats not worth updating a firmware from 1.0.4 to 1.1.0... thats not even worth the headache trying to connect them to the PC. "World off" instead of "Music" it's a joke... If they did work on Bluetooth improvements etc. - why not mentioned it, that means people can actually see that the company is listening to concerns of some and they are trying to find solutions.... But it is NUH, always have been lacking this tiny bit of detailed information, same in pretty much every announcement they do.

    Also, I have emailed the support and the directors the issues that I have after using them for a few months now (which aren't many) but got no response at all and I always had replies from them when I picked on the translations (google translator doesn't cut it). My main issue is that the case is discharging itself when u leave them sitting for a day or 2... if it's 3 or 4 days your battery will most likely be dead. This will shorten the life of your battery! Thats something a firmware upgrade could do, turn the buds off when they are in the case!

    With this new app I also noticed that you can select different languages, but guess what... it's all english regardless which language you choose.

    Now this seems a lot of whinging right now, but as I said, they are very small tiny little annoying issues/details that need to be fixed BEFORE u release stuff to the public otherwise you look stupid, cheap or like a chinese knock-off. Seriously this translation on the first batch was horrifying! And even on the new batch (my second pair is the "new gen") still has mistakes on the front cover of the bloody packaging!

    It is Ohrhörer, not Ohrhhörer. And even if you translate it technically right, this word is not being used for this type of technology. Earbuds are Earbuds in Germany as well...

    The only one that would use the word "Ohrhoerers" these days is my grandma being 90yrs old.

    I have offered the NUH team my help twice with translations etc (for free of course), but all I got back is that they will work on it and fix it in the next batch... oh and a thank you.

    For my liking that is not good enough, all these things are easy fixes and they should be fixed after the prototype stage.

    Ok that was a lot of critic now and before you fire back at me now, let me say I still love them to bits, sound is great, battery great, range for me good... it's just the little things that bother me.

    And don't forget, we need to go back to the topic!
