With regards to the Butcherbird Manganese deposit...that somewhat old announcement said this about the CSIRO work:
Yielded excellent manganese leaching results, rapid leach kinetics .....>95% Mn extraction in 30 minutes
Now the aim is to get it to >99% as this is what is used in the high end batteries
Is anyone able to comment on the likelihood of the CSIRO boffins being able to achieve that?
Is it harder to get something to the 95% in just 30 minutes ...or harder to get it from the 95 to the 99?
