One thing that no one has mentioned is that KDR only gets half the benefit of the $106M.
KDR will have to pay (costs-$106m)/2
Eg Costs $306M KDR pays (306-106)/2 = 100
Without the payment its share of costs would be 306/2 = 153
Therefore benefit = 153- 100 = 53.
So KDR is really paid $40M+$53= $93M.
