We have one guy who thinks graphite is homogeneous.
Another who thinks China the current largest graphite miner in the world will simply fold their hand.

Graphite is not homogeneous in fact. Carbon content, mesh size and type of graphite varies and will dictate price. Graphite is not traded like other commodities but via direct agreements between the miner and consumer causing great obscurity on prices. Funnily enough the off take agreement that is most important to Syrah is to a Chinese battery company mostly owned by the socialist government.

This brings me to my next point. The Chinese could short sell Syrah into oblivion, so please get off the Syrah high horse. Experts in manipulating commodities and also a large investor in the African continent. Nationalisation could happen if China pushed hard enough on Mozambique. So if anyone is to do the bullying it won't be Syrah if push came to shove. After all, China has foreign reserves of over 3 trillion compared to Australia's 50 billion and Mozambique's 2 billion.

So please before thinking a sub billion dollar company with no current cashflow can really be that powerful, have a little perspective on the world.

This is pretend trader FireEmperor's view, for reals? Yes, for reals.
