Why is this posted on the SMR board? OK, it's about coal, but it's surely not at all relevant to SMR ... until SMR shows an interest in WES's assets. Which seems unlikely, as they're busy developing Peabody's $1 mine. But it does raise questions about WES mgt's lack of wisdom. Now is the time to be buying coal, not selling. The war on coal must collapse, because there simply isn't a competitive alternative on the horizon and state governments got a serious wake-up call from the SA fiasco. How much longer will the public put up with the deliberate replacement of energy assets by subsidy farms?
