Well a few points to perhaps agree with your thread heading..
firstly:
Who put us in a legal bind for so many months having even contemplated the deal that MZN proposed?
(the lithium discoveries were made by reviewing the core-farm samples which hadn't even been contemplated commercially previously)
Would one think "Oh ..... so you're interested in Lithium on our tenement?" .... "sure go right ahead."
One would hope if one knew one's business, one would say, "hey let's go check out the core farm and see what we actually got there fellas!'
One suspects that MZN possibly knew more about what was there than did KDR.
secondly:
Who has made a deal with SQM, that the market, the technicalities for better or worse, hasn't liked?
it almost smacks of grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory.
