I thought to share some thoughts on this beautiful Sunday morning.
I am certainly no Oil & Gas expert nor am I a Scientist or have any experience in the field we are discussing. My job is Marketing and looking at at what people want and at times what they don't want and finding a means by which we can cater to their needs. I am interested to hear some thoughts from you on how I have been looking at this stock.
I am in for the long term and have been through the highs and lows of SP - what I have invested is also what I am also prepared to lose so certainly any loss won't affect me or my lifestyle. I simply keep looking more at volume rather than the SP.Of course it is always worrying to see the price fall as much as it has in the past couple of weeks - however volume indicates to me that not that many investors are looking at an exit????
Sure, we had in excess of 300 million traded between the ASX & LSE after the last announcement which many of your here are mainly commenting about (with emphasis on the last part of the announcement) however to me that doesn't equate in my honest opinion to a large percentage of investors looking to exit. Based on 4 billion + shares we are talking 7% thought this stock was not for them. Furthermore that 7% would almost certainly have a large chunk of Day traders thinking 'hang on I might have to wait another 6 weeks to make something here - so I will move on'. To me as a marketing person -  if I had a product that 7% of users all of a sudden decided was not for them I am not sure that I would be losing much sleep over it - nor would I be worried that maybe more people would stop using it. Maybe as the Marketing manager I need to better deliver my message so as not to worry users.
Didnt someone once say ' it won't happen overnight - but it will happen?
Pehaps many expected Dave's Shampoo to give them bright shiny hair instantly? so some decided to try another brand when they took a look in the mirror?
Anyway - sorry for rambling on. I just had some time while the kids were quiet which doesnt happen too often in our house Take care everyone and may all of our dreams come true. GLTAH and DYOR
