Hunt, Not sure who you directed the initial part of your conversation towards, without quoting the conversation, i get lost with who people are talking to. However, im not sure why Datami was brought up into the discussion regards Aquto and Telefonica. I was the one who broke the news to the thread about Aquto and Telefonica after finding the article an hour after its initial posting on Twitter.

The discussion being had was in relation to the fact Aquto has signed a major telco to offer sponsored services. To anyone who is concerned, when i state sponsored services, i refer to anything in the sponsored data realm (data gifting, data rewards, subscription models etc). The fact that Aquto signed the deal prior to anything with Syntonic is a potential significant loss to the "first mover advantage" for Syntonic in that region and whilst we may offer a superior product, considering the signed deal with Aquto, Telefonica may not even strike a deal with us. Just because of AT&T's multiple sponsored data deals, doesn't mean Telefonica will have that too. The same first mover advantage in Nigera was lost to U2opia. The reason im a little concerned about that too, is the fact that both these companies had high level executives on out panel discussion and one would think, there would be closer ties to Syntonic on that basis, than what is reality.

The business model we are pursuing is a back end platform model for companies to white label and re-brand. However, we still have our own branded services which i would like to see expand into other regions and take advantage of the first mover advantage as we were spruiked with in the first place.

OTT has been released, I get that, however we knew about that 6 months ago. 3-4 months now after the MWC and no further expansion into any region or new telco. Yes, the Verizon engagement is significant and the OTT is as well, but whilst we have that, the brand should have been expanded into further areas. If our CSP and technology can be integrated within 7 days, surely we should be in a position to expand quicker than what has, with the multiple tier one carriers in discussions with us...

Acca, appreciate the post, but can you explain how Aquto has a lack of action? They deals with the same companies we do in Verizon, AT&T, Orange etc, but have now also signed on Telefonica. That doesn't seem to me like a lack of action? They also tend to be in the news a lot more than Syntonic, i suppose that comes down to us being a back end solution.

You are 100% right in stating that there doesnt need to be another agreement for Overpass to be launched. What I confirmed with IR is that Overpass can ONLY be launched on carriers with the CSP integrated. What i am not sure of, is if the CSP integration with TATA, flows through to the carriers who utilize TATAs infrastructure.

What percentage of last qtrly's revenue came from FiOS is up to anyone to guess (I already have the answer based on IR's reply to my questions).

Can you share your % is based on discussions with IR? Did they directly tell you or is this an estimation based on your own calculations?

"Syntonic is developing a robust consumer base for data rewards that will transition to sponsored data offers once Tata Communications deploys the white-labelled Syntonic Connected Services Platform across regional carriers".

Is this not solely related to generating insertion orders for the freeway application which will be available on the SDX once TATA rollout the SDX (which they already have deployed)?

So transitioning (what I'll take the liberty to call "typically Aquto business") rather than developing and retaining this part of the space, is indeed the strategy of the Company.I don't think it is too long a bow from here to surmise that SYT was unlikely to be responding to Telefonica in this space. Or competing directly with Aquto, generally.
Which might however make for a very different story in other areas SYT could be engaging with this and other major telcos. But for that info we need to wait

I also cant understand your comments here and what part of the discussion you are referring to? Developing what and retaining what? Are you referring to Syntonic to Telco business? Are you referring to Syntonic to Content Provider business?

I haven't read the forum for a little while, trying to catch up
