IMO - volume, unless it is very large - cannot point to urgency - however, how the buys are done can -

do they take up the bids to above the asks and take out lines at a time etc. --

that certainly tells one either urgency or 'just don't want to stuff around'

or sometimes - at open - someone who doesn't know how the open works.

Which happened on one of the other growth stocks I am into atm - where a buyer just came in considerably above the other bids and the ask as well - stayed in place and paid the max. - but, got the position.
(in that case - they would know what is coming, as would anyone who reads in detail).

in Alexiums case --------- someone wants to up their position or get a position -- or more than likely a number of buyers.

We shall see how far they go.
