I was speaking to my financial advisory yesterday about increasing my allocation in gold stocks.
He warned me to be very very selective and when things start to go sour for a company get out.
He told me he had a client that had no idea what he was doing and 12 months ago allocated funds into these Goldies......SAR, RMS, RED,BDR, TRY and of course MOY.
Unfortunately his client is now sitting on losses in excess of 60%.....of course this won't change what his client is eating for dinner but no oversea's holiday this year apparently.
We discussed each of these stock individually and whilst some are just dogs it just maybe better timing to get in on the better ones.
When comparing like for like MOY was a stand out opportunity.
