    July 19 (Reuters) - Newcrest Mining Ltd (NCM)

    • completed 'test and response' phase of Panel Cave 2 (PC2) restart following seismic event that occurred on 14 april 2017.
    • accordingly, PC2 is now back in production.
    • Commencement of mining from PC1 level remains on track for start-up in september 2017 quarter
