Cortis, fwiw I think MPO and SXP are both fantastic in their own way. Like you I have been in MPO since way back when. I have seen a relatively modest investment become quite substantial. I also remember the days when we would ooh and aah over every cent gain in the SP. At that time I was looking enviously at the likes of ESG, QGC and AOE which seemed to be scooting away. I think MPO will be reaching that stage soon. And because we were patient and got in early we will be rewarded with big gains as our large number of MPO shares start to gallop ahead. SXP is a chance to do it all again. Nobby is right, near term SXPs reserves could be much larger than MPOs. But they are still way underdeveloped. MPO's day has all but arrived but SXPs is yet to come. So, as I stated yesterday, MPO is my flagship but I have put the same amount of money into SXP that I put into MPO 6 months ago. I reckon it's worth a look.
