Leaving it to the last couple of days is a very bad look for the company and gives the impression that they're not pleased with the results and are trying to delay bad news. They need to get out of this habit!
Release it early, include lots of details and include investors and prospective investors in the loop. If the company wants to improve investor sentiment this is another small step which they should be taking!
