that's nonsense what you say about sea turtles. the majority of sea turtles in distress are a result of discarded fishing line and ropes from crab pots.

about the only thing that a stray plastic bag impacts on in the ocean is wrapping around inlet water ports of outboard motors.

all that Woolies is trying to do is to jump on the feel good bandwagon of hysteria. they can't lose because shoppers will have to buy their bin liner bags anyway.

ps- this garbage idea may backfire. unlike the uncivilized ALDI, Woolies checkout staff will
have to pack these green recycle bags. if you have ever been stuck in line behind some fruit loop who uses these bags currently, it takes at least twice as long to pack .

the Germans are smart or i should say at least cunning-they dodge all this drama and check out downtime and are still congratulated as being saviors of our so called lost planet.
