    Strange you say that because I live in a very highly polarised Liberal electorate where Labor doesn't get the slightest chance of election and is anything but "left leaning", and though some understandably criticise Turnbull, I have heard not a single supporter for Abbott - in fact they think Abbott is a spiteful loser/fool hell bent on destroying the party by whatever method he can. And that is not leadership.

    From my understanding it is mainly just this forum that has the highly pro Abbott crowd spruiking the Abbott venom and if he was PM then Labor would wipe the floor. And the polling figures speak for themselves - he is anything but popular.

    At least around here Abbott has practically zero support. He ruined his chances by stupidity last time and has learnt nothing so he is a spent force. Move on or die with Abbott I think.
